Mission Manager

The Mission Manager is the component responsible for managing a scenario and its missions in a map scene.

When you’re creating a new map using the RTS Engine menu editor, this component is attached to an object called “MissionManager”.


Scenario: The Scenario asset file which includes the missions to be managed by this component. When this field is left unassigned then the mission manager component will be disabled when the game starts. When coming from the campaign menu, this field will be overwritten by the scenario chosen in the menu.

  1. Menu: The scenario/mission UI menu game object.
  2. Scenario Name Text: Child of the menu object, this UI Text element shows the current active scenario’s name.
  3. Mission Name Text: Child of the menu object, this UI Text element shows the current active mission’s name.
  4. Mission Description Text: Child of the menu object, this UI Text element shows the current active mission’s description.
  5. Mission Icon Image: Child of the menu object, this UI Image element displays the current active mission’s icon.
  6. Save: Enable in order to save whether the scenario has been fully completed or not. This allows to unlock other scenarios in the campaign menu depending on how it is set up.
